Donation to charity

This year, MetallArt Treppen GmbH has decided to forego Christmas presents to customers and partners and instead donate to charity.

“As a company based in Salach, Baden-Württemberg, we would like to support regional projects in particular. The areas of basic services and education are particularly close to our hearts. For this reason, we decided to support the charity campaign “Gute Taten” of the NWZ (Neue Württembergische Zeitung), which promotes 18 social projects in the district,” says Susanne Bücher, managing director of MetallArt Treppen GmbH.

The campaign of the NWZ was already launched in 1972, at that time still under the motto “Help your neighbors”. Over the years, the initiative has grown continuously and through the great commitment of those responsible, a total of € 6.1 million has been collected.

In 2020, the charity campaign will take place for the 47th time. The proceeds will go to projects run by charitable organizations, institutions and associations that have been particularly hard hit by the Corona crisis this year and need help quickly. For example, educational programs for children from low-income families, voluntary social work for the homeless and socio-medical aftercare for seriously ill children and their relatives receive financial support.
