Project description
Steel staircase in the foyer of the LBBW Göppingen
This self-supporting steel staircase presents itsself as a convincing and creative design element in the foyer of the LBBW Bank in Göppingen. The white lacquered box-type stringers of the steel staircase contrast perfectly with the cover of the treads. It is also the exquisite stair railing made of double flat-steel posts which completes the outstanding look of this steel staircase construction. The horizontal filling bars of stainless steel were bent exactly in compliance with the flight of the stairs.
Steel stairs as a design element
Just as the bars the round tube handrail was manufactured of stainless steel. The half-landings add an accent to the spiral floor plan and reinforce the imposing effect of this steel staircase.
