In the centre stage – steel staircase to the gallery

Beside its function as a construction leading to the gallery this rounded steel staircase is an impressive eye-catcher in the spaciously laid out hall. The tread cover and the solid wooden handrail, both made of European oak, contrast perfectly with the bearing steel elements of the steel staircase. Along the gallery the railing with double flat steel balusters and horizontal flat steel filling bars completes the remarkable installation.

Railings for the steel staircase

  • Double flat-steel balusters
  • Balustrade filling made of flat steel elements running horizontally parallel to the stair stringers
  • Top chord of flat steel, drilled for screw connection at the handrail
  • Wooden handrail matching with the tread cover of European oak.

Diameter of the steel staircase

  • Inner stringer approx. 1,000 mm
  • Outer stringer approx. 3,400 mm
  • Flight width up to 1,200 mm
  • Stringers 12 – 15 mm thick, according to the static requirements
  • Hight of the stringers approx. 350 mm
